The Soviet Army's BTR-70 armored personnel carrier was designed to replace the earlier BTR-60. The first BTR-70 was completed and accepted into service in 1972, while series manufacture began in 1976, and the vehicle went on to become one of the main APCs used by the Soviet Army.

Su 251-98 Locomotive Walkaround

The locomotive SU 251-98 of the monument was produced by Shipyards of Sormovo, Russia in 1949. This monument of locomotive was opened in 1998 to celebrate 110 years of Pskov-Valga-Riga railway connection.

A few days ago, as soon as the warm spring weather set in, I happened to visit the ruins of the Peter the Great's Naval Fortress. This place is located in the village of Suurupi, which is not far from Tallinn (Estonia).
